Toon Zone - LT & MM: The Early Years

Rollin Hamilton was a former Disney animator who helped originate the Warner Bros. cartoon studio with Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising. He was the first cartoonist Walt Disney hired for his new California studio in 1924. It was Hamilton's departure from the Disney studio in 1926 that prompted Walt to hire Friz Freleng as a replacement, though Hamilton returned to Disney shortly after.
